Liz and I went with this church plant in 2004 when I moved here from Missouri to work with Luis Palau. We planted with a few hundred people and began meeting in a local middle school. This past Sunday was our annual service where the whole church gets together for one big gathering instead of having multiple services. I shot this photo because, off to the right if you look close, you can see little pools and hundreds of people waiting to be baptized in the name of Jesus. This is us in a local stadium because there isn’t a building that can fit us all at once. We preach Jesus and Him crucified and it’s so cool to see all these people coming to know that truth.
