27 Dollars

Liz and I ran 3 miles and walked 3 miles along the beach yesterday. We found these sand-dollars along the way. I am in awe of God’s great creation.

Getting Away

This is mine and Liz’s vacation week. This is the beach house that overlooks a golf course and the ocean on the Oregon coast. It has room for 12 people, so it is somewhat too big for just us. God is good in all the ministry stuff we are doing, but it is good for us to get away and spend time together without distraction (except to write this blog, of course). This month is a busy month, so please stay tuned and pray for all the rad things God has planned.

New Shoes

I’ve been doing so many demos, that I wore my shoes down to the foam. I like to have my shoes nicely broke in so I can have a good feel of the board. Last Sunday I was invited to speak @ a small church in PA and do a little skate demo, I did the demo and afterwards I decided to get rid of my worn out sheos that I had been skating in for some time now. I discarded them in a proper manner, but 10 minutes later this little boy comes up to me holding my old stinky skate shoes and asks if I would autograph them. I am so thankful to have great sponsors that help me out. Circa footwear is a huge brand in skateboarding. Even though I am not on the team roster it is still rad to be flowed 4 pairs of new shoes when I need them. God is good and I am blessed. Next week I take my wife on a week long vacation!

Skating in Pennsylvania
I was in PA this weekend, and it went well. I got to go to a high school and skate on Fri. I did a complete demo and even ollied a few kids including the principal (I love skating!). Of course I couldn’t share my faith, but I invited kids to talk with me afterward or mostly just t0 come to the main event the following day to hear the rest.
I was supposed to do 3 short 10min. demos during the day on Sat. I was at the counties annual family day. I skated that night to about 200-300 people in a small pavillion and then I shared how Jesus changed my life. I didn’t feel I should do any sort of formal alter call, so I just prayed and encouraged people to talk to me afterward.
I hung out with the local skaters and one really got me stoked. This kid named Cody is one of those “diamond in the rough” skaters. It is clear he has fun skating, which reminded me of why I still skate. So Cody if you read this, it was rad skating with you bro’. Thank you Pastor Mark for hangin’ with me and supplying me with plenty of Red Bull.
God bless and I pray you all had a good Memorial Day weekend.
The Finnish Line
This is a group from Finland that has an action sports ministry that came to visit me on Tues.
The couple on the right go to Bethel Church in Redding, CA.
I loved hanging with these guys, they even prayed for the pain in my right foot and it went away. I am so thankful for God’s faithful servants. Have you ever heard God say something or allowed Him to use somebody in a divine way to meet a need in your life? If so please comment.
God bless
In the Middle…

This weekend was awesome. I was in Middletown which is located 2 hours outside Sacramento, CA. I met the nicest people in this small little mountain town.
The outreach was in a strip mall parking lot. From the photo you can see our humble little stage that I skated on and shared how God changed my life. We had around 10 recorded decisions for Jesus.
The part I was stoked on was there were a few church youth groups that came out and they were the ones that would pray for the person when he or she raised their hand. I am thanking God to be able to skate again and not feel any pain in my feet so that was encouraging. I had oppurtunities throughout this weekend to go into this little crowd and strike up good conversations about life and the real life that is only found in Jesus.
God bless thanks for checking this out.
I’ve been everywhere man, I’ve been everywhere
I was just thinking about how many opportunities outside the U.S. I have been invited to this year alone to skate and share the gospel. Beijing, Mexico, Hydribad, India, Zambia, Singapore, Rwanda. I just don’t have a desire to go overseas. Here I am with an amazing job doing exactly what I want. I am available to do things like this. I just don’t get that excited in my heart about leaving the U.S. I believe I am called for now anyway as a skateboarding missionary to this country. The point is: How do we know what God is wanting us to do all the time? After all, it is about losing our lives for the sake of sharing and being the good news of Jesus to others. All I know is that this peace gives me hope, I trust that I am following His will.
Thanks for reading please pray for us.
New Board

I set up a new board for last weekend in Mississppi. Being sponsored is such a genuine blessing. God is awesome and has been so generous to us. Even though last weekend was kinda rough, God is still in control.

Jedidiah is for Lovers

I just received a package full of clothes from my sponsor Jedidah. If you live in the southern U.S., they carry Jedidiah at Buckle or check them out @ www.Jedidiahusa.com. If you live in CA you can find it at better skate and surf shops. They have backed me with clothing since 2005. I love these guys.
Home Again
Hey everyone, I just got home from Mississippi last night. I had an arena show with FMX, rock bands ect. It was crazy the week before in TX we had around 8000 people show up in the 3 days we were in town. The MS. show not so much but it was alot of fun. I have a few dates this month so of course I am busy as well as working with the kids at my church.
God bless!
