Dead life
I went to Oklahoma this past weekend to share the good news of Jesus and flip my board around for over a 1,000 people. It was cool to see so many little kids getting stoked on skating. I shared a message on how being separated from God is a dead life and knowing Him is a dead life as well. “We are either dead IN our sins or dead TO our sins.” I’m so thankful that God exchanged His perfect Holy life (Jesus) as a sacrifice to save us from hell and depravity and complete and utter void.

Breakfast Club
Sharing with a group of high school students about living life as a Christ follower. It is awesome to see this many students at 7:30am before the day begins getting into the Word.

This past weekend I was able to skate and share Jesus with around 1000 people in Pensacola, FL. I had such a rad time. The people who brought me in did a fantastic job, a big thanks to Olive Baptist Church.

New Flatland Era of 2011
This is my 6th official vid section in my 10 year career. This is by far, the edit I’m most excited about! I hope you enjoy watching it, and that it encourages you to push the limits on what is possible. I’ve been so humbled by all that God has entrusted me with over the years.

Ornaments
I made Christmas ornaments out of one of my old skateboard decks for the kids this year. I think it’s alot more meaningful to give something that’s personal. I got to be honest though, cutting crosses out my skateboard was no easy task. Then again God being born as a human to save the world from sin and separation from Him by dying on a cross, wasn’t easy either.
Jesus is Lord.

Update Time
Coming in January 2011, my latest skate edit will be released as a personal 6 min. promo piece and as my section in the new Untitled Skateboards film. The skating will be my very best and what I believe to be a new innovative injection for freestyle flatland skateboarding. It will also provide context to what I do on stages all across the U.S.
I’m smiling as I write this thinking “I’m about to release the best skating of my career” and at the same time I’m starting a homeless teen ministry with my wife in our city. Our life is about to get crazy but I’m stoked on all that God is doing in and through us. In other news a new signature Pro model should be available soon go to www.untitledskate.com for more info.

Love and commitment
There are so many of us who struggle these days with lack of commitment in the body of Christ. This is something that I hear from so many people.
“I am content with JUST Jesus and me.”
I say it is awesome that you found Jesus, but you cannot truly have Jesus and simultaneously not do what He says. The outgrowth of love and faith in Christ is love and faith like Christ’s, which means we are committed, even as He is, to His people.
Lets look at this verse: ”‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength.’ The second is this,’ You shall love your neighbor as yourself’.'” (Mark 12:30-31). Jesus said that the second commandment is like the first. When you love God, your love and commitment for others will actually be like your love and commitment to God.

Prayers
My wife and I are about to move into our new home and take a huge step of faith in a new ministry housing homeless highschool students here in Portland OR.
-Please help & join us by praying that we would have endless energy loving and caring for these students.
-Please pray for wisdom on how to go about all the guidance and correction stuff.
-Pray that these kids would know and see the love of Jesus shining through us.
-Please pray that all the money needed would be there for the kids.
People have already been asking if I will continue to travel and do ministry. The answer is YES! I am still going to travel, skate & share Jesus until God says otherwise. We are excited about this new chapter in our lives. We look forward to sharing the testimonies of trials and victories in this new adventure.

Dallas was awesome and once again many people gave their lives to Jesus. This pic is of my friend Oscar doing a sound check before my message and demo. This is what the stage typicallly looks like. That square is where I will rattle out over 80 tricks in my 25min. routine and then give a 20-25 minute message.
About 7 years ago, I created a way to perform and skate in a small area so that I could easily travel and have a job skating and sharing Jesus. To make what I do relevant and more inviting to local skaters, I challenge them to duplicate a specific combo of mine. The catch is they only get one shot. If they make it they win $100.
I haven’t had anyone do it yet…..Thank God.

One Big Party
Met up in Oklahoma for the Freestyle Tour last week. This is one of my favorite events to do throughout the year. The lineup was Hip Hop Artist CZ , DJ Promote, Pro Freestyle Flatland BMX’er Scott Ditchfield, and myself. We had a good turn out considering that we didn’t get to go to any schools and invite students to this free event. This was an awesome night! When it came time to give the invite for students to respond to the Gospel message, many came forward to receive prayer and counsel.
After all the hype and hoopla, seeing people come to know Jesus is all that will ever matter.
God is good.
