Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace that surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The doors keep opening for me to travel and share Jesus and skateboard which is a real blessing especially in our whacked-out economy. We have everything we need and yet I still find myself getting anxious.  I had a meeting today with a friend of mine that I have not seen in awhile. My friend is a father of 4 and a husband to a wife who has health problems and is sometimes bed ridden for months. The faith of this couple is amazing, God keeps on providing all that they need even in seemingly impossible situations. I should mention that my friend has been out of work since September. He told me today that he has applied for countless jobs and nothing has opened up yet. God does work in mysterious ways and His ways are not our ways.

I am watching God work miracles through this family. People are coming to know Jesus through their selfless ministry efforts and those are the doors that are opening “doors to hearts who need Jesus”. God just wants us to obey and simply trust Him. My friend and his wife could easily sit back, complain and feel defeated but instead they are trusting God and His Word.
