“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.” Isaiah 61:1
These past couple of weeks have been busy with outreaches. I was invited back to the Northwest Washington Fair to skate and share the Gospel of Jesus. We had great crowds for both demos/outreaches, and the Lord gave us tremendous favor to connect with the people.
The following week, I joined my friend Andrew Palau for a busy weekend of ministry in Culver, OR.
Liz joined me for this one and it was a great time to enjoy each other, while simultaneously doing ministry.
I skated and shared with a small group of kids and adults at Culver Christian Church on Saturday night.
I had such a blast sharing my story and encouraging this group to follow Jesus. It was awesome.
The next day Andrew Palau and I had the opportunity to speak at the morning multi church / festival service and it was rad, with a good amount of people responding to to the good news of Jesus.
That Sunday afternoon we were then invited to a prison to do our thing.
Skating at this prison was nerve racking for me. I have done some stuff before at youth detention centers, but never a prison.
God moved mightily in this effort and close to 20 inmates responded to the call to repent of sin and say yes to following Jesus. The chaplain was down front with us handing out new Bibles. It was amazing.
Thank you for praying with us.
